Building a new house is certainly a stressful. Very stressful. It's almost never on schedule nor on budget. You agree to a price and then find out down the road that the cabinets and drawers agreed to do not include pulls/handles. $300-400 more for cabinet and drawer pulls that match everything else.... Then one of the guys on the framing crew comes in maybe hung over and goes crazy with the roof sheeting nail gun but almost none of the nails hit the trusses... and on and on. It is unimaginable how many things can go wrong building a house. Main remedy is just you need to be there and act watch closely and not be afraid to speak up. But the attention will pay off when you are done and living in the new houose that you know from the inside out. And you will decide never to do that again! Hang in there Brad! Jim at Dawn |
