Michigan		New to red tractors we bought a MX290 and are pulling a 17 shank chisel plow, great right, wrong. We can not seem to get enough traction to pull it, 30-40% slippage, six front weights came on it and the dealer is saying we are out of our minds that we need more weight. We loaded inside rear tires and are about to load inside front. I know the tractor has enough ponies to pull this plow, since we tested a JD 4955 on it yesterday same depth same speed, only difference is older, less ponies, longer wheel base, firestone tires, full front weights and a different color, LOL I threw that in there. no what can we do to get this very nice tractor to pull this plow, more weight what, dealer dropped it off and said there, so we have been learning own our own. Any input let me have Boys. Much thanks to all.
