Subject: Re: stamp farms in decatur, mi

I am from SW Michigan where I farm and am also part owner of a retail family owned elevator. The reality of this situation, BTO's, is that this is and is going to be the demise of America and the way of life as we know it. In today's world, land is where the money is being invested because of its known security and growth in value. I know of an individual that is working with an investor from oversees to accumulate all the farm land they can here in SW Mich. It will not be long that we as small family farms will be the minority. I look at all the small family business here in my community that are or will be going out of business because of the Walmarts, Menards, etc. that are coming into the area. The next generation cannot compete with these BTO's. So is it with farm ground???
