#30 might help, our IH combine 466 engines use some oil when running 15-40, use none at 100 hrs with #30.
I remember the early 4 and 6 cyl JD's would not seat rings, so JD would "dust them with a mild abrasive at new overhauled engiune startup. They use a mild abrasive like comet or bon-ami, slowly dusted into the air intake while the engine pulled hard on a dyno.

Try removing the air pipe between turbo and intake manifold, to see if it has oil inside. Might be leaky turbo seals.

Also inspect the entire crankcase vent system for plugging. Seems I remember hearing of that series engine building so much crankcase pressure that it blows oil past the turbo seals. Also check that the turbo oil return tube is not plugged.
