I'd for sure check all of the parallel arms and bushings. We bought a 11,000 acre kinze 3650 and after going through it noticed some of the bushings were loose and even some of the arms had some wear where the bushing goes into them. Also check markers if you intend on using them. Sometimes they can really take a beating, depending on whether the farmer no-tilled into hard ground or worked his ground. Guess bearings are kind of a luck of the draw thing in my book. If it's been shedded that would be a plus to keep chains and hoses out of the weather. I know a planter can be rebuilt many times over, so I guess it's all about the price of the machine and what you have to put into it to get it field ready, compared to a lower acred one that might already be field ready.
This is just my experience from buying a higher acred Kinze. I have been around my neighbors high acred 1770 bulk fill. They are good durable planters.
