I too have seen WW planted up to Thanksgiving and still make a decent crop. Now alot does depend on the kind of winter we have - dry, wet, snow pack, wind etc.
Wheat suprises me sometimes. May not look like much late fall early winter then spring comes around and boom it takes off. Something is better than nothing IMO.
Too late for wheat?
