We put them on our white 8000 last year. In corn and beans, I don't think it made much difference, but in milo and canola (we planted some with the planter this year) i think that there may have been some lift from the disc, causing a horizontal crack which the smaller seed went into. Every now and then you'd find a plant that was outside where it should have been.
