Central Iowa | I don't know if the battery will work, but usually Insight batteries don't completely die very often. You could try plugging it into wall power and leaving it powered up for about 5 hours to see if it charges it back. Also make sure you are on current firmware as the Insight did have have a firmware glitch a while back that would cause this.
The only time the battery really fails is when the date reverts to a very odd date (say 1/1/68). If that's the case another internal component may have failed and repair would be necessary. | |
