I would not count on them winterkilling and have a spray plan in mind. Harmony Extra plus a half pint of a 2-4D product seems to give consistent control. I wouldn't let the radish grow more then 6-8" unless you have adequate moisture. Not sure if you'll see much of a difference with one pound of seed per acre. 2-4lbs is where most of the positive results come in. BUT i have seen results with one pound so you never know.
