nw NC | Before going to bed soak hands for a couple of minutes in water slightly more than body temp. While they are still dripping wet, rub petroleum jelly on your hands and then slip on blue " exam " gloves and keep them on all night. Wear them around the clock for a couple of days with or without petroleum jelly and your hands will rehydrate from within and heal nicely . Once it gets "hand cracking" season here I wear gloves to bed every night . Also, believe it or not, it helps to drink more water. | |
