North End I-15 | Local oil drilling company laid rail road track in the floor of their new (Now old ) shop . It was just above the cement line 1/4" or so .
They could skid equipment on it like pipe racks , rig substructures , weld on to it for anchors etc. Seemed like a good idea at the time . the shape of rail makes it easy to get good fill under the top,flange. the rounded top made for easy sweeping . | |
