Subject: Kitchen Reno Advice

What things would you people with kitchen reno experience look out for. We've already started but heres what we're doing. We're moving one wall 20" into a laundry rm to make the kitchen dining area big enough for a 6 x 3 island. Laundry rm is still big enough. The basics are maple cabinets, microwave fan combo above stove, granite countertops, LED lights under cabinets, 18 ga SS sink, hole for soap dispenser by sink, and various nice storage devices in the cupboards. Is one outlet on the side of the island enough? Island counter is all one level. We're also planning on doing a type of Armstrong vinyl tile for the floor. Looks like ceramic but not nearly as cold. Still has real grout lines and is supposed to be very tough. (Actually has granite in it. ) We know a few people who have it and they really like it. Any one on here have experience with this flooring? Any other kitchen reno advice would be appreciated. Mama is really happy in spite of all the mess and disruption! We've been talking about this for 10 yrs and its finally a go.
