| When the Allied convoys went through the Strait of Gibralter the German agents spotted asll those ships and informed Hitler. Hitler was so fixated on Stalingrad that he didn't pay much attention to the convoys. Of the 100,000 German Prisoners taken by the Russians at the fall of Stalingrad only 5,000 of those prisoners were returned to Germany at the end of WW2. If it weren't for Russia WW2 would have lasted a lot longer. Jim J | |
