SW Ohio | this is the mrs. one of our favorites; 1. sear 1.5-2lbs round steak (top or eye) in skillet with little olive oil, then put in crock pot. 2. add two packets of onion soup mix over meat. 3. mix two cans cream of mushroom soup with about cup or cup and half of water and pour over meat. 4. cook low around 8-10 hrs. 5. cook up egg noodles on side to serve with meat. gravy in pot with meat is EXCELLENT on noodles!
we always make extra. don't skimp on the noodles!
another easy one: stew meat, potatoes halved, baby carrots in crock pot. drop in whole onion for flavor. add tomato sauce until most of ingredients are covered in pot. add salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste. cook maybe 6ish hours or until carrots/potatoes are tender. mild taste, but good on a cold day.

SIL makes a pork roast covered in sauerkraut cooked on low all day that is good also. don't know what your tastes are! | |
