Watonwan County MN
None of our business honestly. Everybody is entitled to raise their livestock the way they want to. If Jim wants to graze HIS cattle in HIS cornstalks, that's his business. How much hay do you put up in a year? What's your breakeven on the calves you sell? Tit for tat I figure. I really would like to know your OPINION on why the hereford bulls sell as two's and steers sell as yearlings. Jim took an opportunity to enlighten some of our customers as to how beef is produced in the USA. Is his way different from mine? Absolutely. Is my way different from garvo's? Absolutely. But in the end, cows still produce the same product no matter how it's produced. Quality may differ some, but it is still BEEF.
