Subject: STO goat hay feeder

Took some old chem totes and made me some hay feeders this weekend. Nothing fancy but it sure works better than the collaspable hay feeder I paid hundreds for!!! I just took the 4 screws holding the brackets that held the tank in out, removed the tank and tadaa! hay feeder!

Adelaide Hills, South Australia
We use old ones that get broken tanks or valves, or if someone opens the tank to empty it and walks away when the lid is still sealed tight and the tank collapses! We use them for young dairy calves in groups while they are still in the shed. Saves a lot of hay and they do not often get stuck in them. It's good if you want to shift them while there is still some hay in there as well. Good pics, thanks!!
