We ran a 936D on our 8820 for a year with no problems. Hooked up just fine and the previous combine it came off of was a JD CTS II which was part of the 10 series. I think the reason you don't see a draper on an 8820 is because nobody wants to buy a header thats worth twice as much if not more then the combine.
