Woodham, Ontario | I have a 7230R with the exhaust filter and have not had any issues with it.
You realize that the reason case ih can get away with not using the filter is by raising combustion temperatures to the point that there is no soot. The Deere engine burns cooler reducing Nox, but generating soot. Then the filter is heated up to burn it off.
There is no free lunch. Both systems are designed to meet emissions targets and compromise usuability and lifespan... | |
