S.E. Iowa | Take a piece of 1/2 x 2 inch flat cold roll {or bigger}, cut partway thru it with a saw at each point of the nut. heat and bend around nut. The cuts make nice sharp bends and a nice vee . Weld each vee when done. Bend a arch the width of the socket, weld the biggest nut on it you have a socket for on your arch, weld the arch to the socket and you have a socket. I have done this on several occasions works good not quite as good a socket because of the play I have used this with my 1 inch drive impact | |
