Yes, I thought about that, too.

The times, we've had any trouble with slip clutches, was either foxtail, along terraces(with very worn knifes, underneath) or broken slip clutch parts, on the row unit itself. {more new parts, fixed both issues} Note: Sprayer can't get inside curves, of tight terraces=foxtail issue.



One could alway buy the Clarke machine, single chain cornhead unit, I guess.
