Elvaston, IL | We unload our semi over a portable dragchain pit and then into a 13" auger. We put our 1066 on this setup this year, which it handles the auger with ease, but the hydraulically driven drag pit suffers in the speed dept. Its basically turned the 13"auger into a 10" augers capacity. I've figured out the 1066 is rated at 12gpm and the pit is rated for 22gpm @ 2000psi. I understand it'll never reach the 22gpm, but I don't need it to since that rating is for 8000 bu/hr. If I put a larger relief valve in, would that increase the flow a little to get it closer to the 12gpm if it isn't already? Any other thoughts? | |
