I have a friend that is a mechanic at a local john Deere dealer and he said he has seen were the injector cup will crack allowing compression to get into the fuel passages in the head. This would cause the tractor to behave strangely. It would start cold fine but after it was warm it would not. Or if you were pulling it hard it may die a you could not restart it. This was on a 9400.
