Posted this yesterday http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=338534&posts=1... ,and got advice on what the previous welder had done wrong. Here is my patch. First veed out the crack and then welded it in then ground it flat and welded these scraps over it and added to the gusset on the bottom I used the gold five star rod (1/8" I think) and about 130 amp setting. My only training was my dad and trial and error. Will it hold? Thanks for looking.
