Here they are considered more of a medium duty or finishing disc, but they are very durable. They are not as heavy as we need for primary work, but they leave a nice finish. I once rented one to cut a firebreak because I could pull it down the highway instead of getting oversize permits for a Towner. It didn't cut as deep, and I had to make more passes to get clean ground. It would have been cheaper in the end to get the permits. They are probably the best machine in their size category there is to deal with rocks.
