Old 20 = new 22.5. Old 22 = new 24.5. The 20/22.5 hubs are smaller than the 22/24.5 hubs. It's confusing, but a 22 is larger than a 22.5. If you measure the over all outer diameter of the rims, a 20 measures the same as a 22.5, and a 22 measures the same as a 24.5. The difference is in the depth of the bead, and the bead diameter is where the size comes from.
