This year I pulled a 32' CaseIH "110 Crumbler" (round bar baskets, not flat like in that link) behind a 40 year old 23' IH 480 tandem disk (9" spacing). Saved me at least 1 pass, maybe 2 or 3 depending on conditions. Note that I think you can adjust the angle of the gangs on the 480 disk to make it more like a VT tool.
