what tractor are you using? if deere does it have a 3pt. hitch? and is it 4x4?
there are ways to get more hydraulic flow if your using a jd 4x4 with 3pt.
thats an age old issue fil went from 4955 to 8640 and back then got 8870 before he over came low fans speed. also they did use a pto drive.
they didnt have down pressure tho, just cant turn fan enough.
