ecmn | on the adapter pin 4 is power, then jump to any other pin and head should lower or raise with the feeder house in field position. if you jump from 4 to 5 and it does nothing then go to behind the cab and listen to the solenoid valves while someone else jumps the pins.
on the solenoids there is a little plug in the center, if you take a pic or punch and push them in the head should lower or raise. that will verify they are good.
on the head lift the head up, put down your safety stop and clean all the dirt from on top of the skid plates, over on the left side there is a plate behind the row of skid plates, it should move freely and has 2 grease zerks. mud ontop of the skid plates can keep the rod from moving.
then you can go to the box, take the cover off and visually inspect it inside. | |
