Subject: Hydraulic question

Mandan ND
Looking at setting up a 1100 concord tank on the back of a SDX30 air drill that has a tow between 2400 tank. The reason for putting the 1100 tank on is to put 46-0-0 down so I can go one pass. Question is I am short on hydraulics for the 1100 tank for the fan so I am looking at puttting a PTO pump on the 5488 MFWD that I am using. I was going to put a prince pto pump on but was told that will not work well under constant preassure. Then looked at a Piston pump but will cost $3000.00. A neighbor told me to look at a PTO pump off of a New Holland 114 or116 never used a haybine not sure what I am looking at and will it work. Found one at a salvage yard down south for 1500.00 also called the local New Holland and they said there is a whole new kit and that would cost 3000.00. Any thoughts. TIA
