Memphis, TN | You are correct. A couple of hydraulic hoses and a flow divider (some people get an electric divider and run a switch to operate) is really all that is needed.
The 86 series IH tractors with open center systems have a lot of restrictions in the back end of the tractor which generates too much heat on any continuous duty requirements. I would verify the hose connection needs for the pump end. Pumps prior to 2005 used the 3/8" NPT connections and since then used 1/2" NPT connections. | |
