Subject: 20" Corn in NC

White Cross, NC
How many people ar planting 20" corn in NC or the south east US. Im thanking about making a 3pt planter with units on 20" for corn, soybeans, and milo which will be helpful and save move by using the same planter for everything.

I could be wrong but i see a lot of advantaes to 20" or narrow row corn, less herbicide because of shading out quicker when it shades the ground out thats less the suns gonna evaporate moisture from the gound. Also have the plants spaced out more in row will help i thank will water and fertility uptake instead of a 30" or 36 where the plants are spaced closer together competing with one another.

Just wanted to know if theres anybody else around doin this i know several farmers up in the north west part of the country really like it.
