Northeast Nebraska | The payment on a new machine divided over the acres it runs on is going ti be a big factor. $50k dollar payments arent uncommon on the new bigger machines. If you are only covering 25000 acres, you are already at $2/ac.
I would say spray tips will be $600/yr to maintain. $1000/yr to cover maintenance. Fuel isnt much per acre, i can spray 1000 acres on 150 gal.
Spray trailers need figured into the cost as well as the trucks that pull them and an operator. 10 gpa or less cheapens things up alot. Start putting on 40+ gpa of nitrogen and it starts adding up in trucking and time spent | |
