What serial number run c15? Got to be a 6nz or 9nz in Australia. From what you have described it maybe from the oil pick up mounts, our the ladder. Most c15s are under a hour to get the sump off and have a look, sump gaskit can be reused most times. There is no cam retainers our any thing like what describe in the timing case.
