If you have the time and the patiance, there is a site called diesel bombers.com You can search there forums or ask a question. Good site but might take a few days to actually get a reply from someone that knows what they are talking about lol. I had to put one of those vp44 pumps on my 2001 at 90,000 miles. Runs fine now. Hope you get it figured out.
