Subject: Re: 1680 cleaning sieve help

Alberta
Thanks Old Pokey thats the one, it was getting dark and I was pretty choked when I realized what I did. Time to walk away for the night. I will switch the bracket in the morning and pull everything apart to do it right after harvest (or if we get some rain days). It had new bushings, chaffer, and cleaning sieve over the last 300 hours but the rails were patched together with gobby mig welds (looked like they were done in place). I'm positive the poor welds were the cause of this wreck. I replaced the 2 cleaning rails that broke and Mag Particled the chaffer rails to find all cracks, chased the cracks with the grinder and MP'd them to confirm the cracks were gone then rewelded and MP'd the entire rail.
