 The front brace you are referring to is a channel that has one right angle break and one break about 45 degrees? It has 2 bolts on each end? You can just pull the chaffer itself, then pull the shoe sieve, loosen the 4 bolts that hold the shoe rails to the arms, and r&r the brace. Then just tighten up the 4 bolts and re-install the chaffer. Remember those bolts that hold the brace must have the nuts on the front side, or the side that faces away from the shoe sieve. It is best to use the slot head bolts too if possible. Here's a pic to hopefully help ID the brace you are talking about?
