Subject: Suggestions, advice, opinions on bias vs radial on bigger tractors

Need to put tires on the back of a 4wd articulating tractor. Yes usually hands down I would go with a radial. But....... They will have to be fluid filled in this case. Which I absolutely hate doing to a radial tire because it makes it stiff. So in the end is it really worth the expense to spend the dollars on radial when you really are not getting the benefits? I did a comparison on a " name brand" tire and the radial was pretty much double for the same ply and size. Yes double....... We are talking brute force 350 hp tractor dragging dead weight. I'm just having a hard time seeing the value. I know the value of radials in row crop tractor installs but this seems to be a " grey area". TIA
