Thanks Adrian that's what I needed to know. Let me make sure I understand you correctly. The drive shaft that goes up in the coupling with the hydraulic motor shaft with the 2 small beveled gears has to be removed in order to have access to the nuts on the big beveled gears on the end of the compactors.
