We did chip the combine. We have done others for several years, so used it again. Can't really tell you if it helps, should try turning it off sometime.
The beans we did weren't very tough. went 5 mph for most of the fields other then some really green spots. We feel the draper does feed better in the tougher conditions, but really shined in the 8.5% beans last week.
