| Chad, make sure that the top (front) side of the discharge pan/axle cover is fitted under the shoe sieve access door. The cover pivots on the spring pins in the middle of the cover and when installed on top of the tailings access door it will lower the back edge and drop chaff as you are experiencing. Release the spring pins, move cover under the tailings (shoe sieve) door, and reinstall the spring pins in the sides. This will elevate the back edge of the cover to better distribute the chaff on the spreaders. You may also want to either turn the triangle plate in the middle of the cover over, or bend it up so it is more parallel to the ground and eliminate the chaff from making a pile on the ground right at the center of the spreaders. Let us know what you find. | |
