Subject: Re: Powershift tips

NW Ohio,near Findlay
I run a 760-A JD pan, scraper with Power shift. Nothing is harder on a Powershift tranny than a earthmover. It was near 10,000 hours when I retired. It had a foot throttle and I always let up on throttle when shifting. Never shifted under full load, pan in ground or up a hill. Of course never downshift at full throttle. We changed filter once a year and just used never abused it. BUT, if you ever have trouble with it, I'm afraid it's big bucks, unless you are a real good mechanic or know one.
