It will not get easier than now to lower the floor on the front chain. That can be done without changing the rear area. The poly chain runners/wear strips may need replacing or redrill and reverse them. Put button head bolts in any where there is grain passing by to insure the smoothest feed. Weld a "ramp" on the bottom front of the square tube so the chain is guided down gradually under it if it is slugged. I understand the time constraint but it sure helps the feed. Just cut the floor free down each side, push it down, reweld with filler strip or backing strip as required. One half day for the nimble. Also be sure to have the timing of the sprockets correct at install. The 4 strand chain is not needed, I don't get it at all, if every thing else going back to the transition piece, triangle plate, fast helicals and chopper is working properly why another strand? Hard surface the leading edge slats on the chain so it retains an aggressive edge.
