just a tish NE of central ND | There is a sight glass on many combines(on filter / receiver dryer/ in the engine compartment. that tell you if it is full when the bubbles disappear while it is running with the compressor on .Add un till the bubbles disappear for R 12 .That glass is a small class window into the line outlet on the dryer on the hi pressure line between condenser and the expansion valve on the evaporator. Gages tell you operating pressures, but not necessarily when the system is full.
