| think it does wonders myself, went from an 8100 to an 8430 with ILS last year and would never consider a solid front again.
We greased the ILS once a week, on rtx sat's so steering was constantly moving and never was able to justify daily greasing, seems rather wasteful from our experience. I have no idea how it handles in mud yet as last fall was dry, spring was dry, etc. but when i find out i'll let you know, overall and very happy with it.
Running michelin agribibs on the metric equivalent of 18.4's (480's??) with matching sized firestones up front and it'll lug a long wag before spinning. Only thing i dislike about our 8430 is how deere can't put a fuel fill cap on both sides of the tractor...irritates me when the 9420's are both sides and you get used to it. Small complaint i know lol. | |
