Eastern Nebraska | I am not sure why everyone is so down in Ritalin.... There are side affects that is true... My son takes Ritalin on school days mainly so that he can focus and pay attention.... The lowest dose possible is what the goal should be.... There are side affects to chemo and pain medications also but we do not deny those to people that need them and we do not bash them all the time... I am also an RN as well as a Special Education teacher... The biggest help is to educate yourself on ADHD/ADD... There are many books out there that are very helpful for home, parents, schools, and teachers that do not push medications..... If you would like I would be happy to give you the title of one... | |
