Subject: RE: Cordless drill machinery

Manitoba, Canada
I spent all last winter looking at tools and trying to decide which brand to get. I had a hard time deciding between Milwaukee and Makita. I was told by more than one department manager that they had the least amount of returns because of problems with Makita but I still felt the Milwaukee was probably a little bit more rugged (just my opinion though). In the end, I bought an 11 piece Makita kit. For the price of the kit I would have only been able to purchase a few Milwaukee tools as they didn't have the kit selection that Makita has. I figured even if Milwaukee tools are a little bit more "industrial duty" than the Makita by the time I wear them out the tools available will be that much better again and I won't feel so guilty if I want to upgrade. As it turns out I can't believe how much I use all the different tools. Very happy I went the way I did.
