I got a 33,000 GVW truck this winter with an Auto 6 speed .... it is GREAT. For short hauls stopping and going it sure is nice compared to shifting gears consantly. A nieghbor with gravel trucks swears by the Auto for his application. They do lots of work in the city plus snow removable in the winter. Says with the Auto it really makes things easier for getting drivers plus its way nicer in town to drive.
Which truck trans. for novice drivers?
