Subject: Re: Ordering new CaseIH 4430

Central MN
We are running a 4430 with 120ft boom and AIM this year and really like it. I only have 160 hrs on it so far but the boom seems to be holding up very good and I love the AIM command. I do 15 to 20 gallons per acre for pre in the spring, some of it was 28% and 10 to 12 gallons per acre for all post applications and I have only run 1 tip all year and it worked very good that way. I was always running a John Deere 4930 before this year so I dont know what a 4420 case was like but the 4430's wieght is not as balanced front to back as I thought it was going to be, it is heavy on the back axle and in some of our hills the front wheels will spin going up the hill. All in all I really like the 4430, I got a chance to demo a John Deere 4940 last week and I did one load with it and remembered why we bought a case and I went running back to it.
