One thing to notice, if you don't have adequate pressure at the gun, the part circle mechanism isn't going to work. Sooner or later it will hang up and not complete the transition from the deflector being in the stream to out. So, the gun will point in one direction and the stream will be broken into a wide, but short spray. You can compensate somewhat for this by loosening the brake spring adjustment (big nut on top of spring near where gun pivots on it's base). If you loosen that too much it will not handle any tilt/slope at all. In that case, the gun will drop back downhill between "kicks" uphill and it won't go on around. The brake has to hold it where it stops, but still be loose enough to have a good return so it can trip out at the end of the return.
