North Central Alabama | I am still trying to get my irrigation pump runnung.I am having to splice my 6" suction rubber hose.I thought i would use a short piece of alumiumn pipe and clamps.I wanted to butt it up but i may have to shorten the piece of hard pipe.It is 22" long and my plan was to slide 11" in both ends of rubber pipe.I slicked alumiumn pipe up with sand paper but it is still giving me fits.I was told to use WD40 as a lube to make it easiler.What lube do you use on this kind of a slip?
